Job Description

Description
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for helping to transport packages, prescriptions, and other goods between our facilities in Sugar Land and Clear Lake, as well as delivering to specified routes throughout the Greater Houston area. Your duties include loading and unloading said goods and using reliable navigation tools to arrive at the correct addresses.
Your Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
Following all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and best practices for safety when delivering items.
Communicating with the Transportation Manager and drivers to successfully make deliveries.
Meeting delivery deadlines and following assigned delivery routes.
Performing basic truck maintenance, such as refueling, doing visual inspections, and reporting potential issues
Preparing, loading and unloading the delivery vehicle.
Providing exceptional customer service and obtaining client or customer signatures when needed.
Completing any paperwork related to the deliveries and completing reports as required.
Using additional equipment as needed.
Requirements
A valid driver’s license.
Knowledge of how to handle materials safely.
Familiarity with using navigation systems.
Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule.
Availability to work Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays.
Willingness to undergo Tb testing and receive the Hepatitis B vaccine.
Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving.
Ability to load and unload heavy cargo and use any machinery or equipment necessary to help.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
A clean driving record and safe driving skills.
