A field technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment and systems at customer locations. They work in various industries, including telecommunications, healthcare, and manufacturing, and are responsible for ensuring that equipment functions efficiently and that customers are satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Maintenance: Field technicians install new equipment, perform routine maintenance checks, and upgrade systems.

• · Troubleshooting and Repair: They diagnose technical issues, perform on-site repairs, and replace faulty equipment.
• · Customer Service: They interact with clients, provide technical support, and train customers on how to use equipment.
• · Documentation and Reporting: They document work performed, including repairs, installations, and maintenance, and generate service reports.
• · Safety Compliance: They adhere to safety protocols and procedures during all work activities.
• · Inventory Management: They may manage the stock of replacement parts and equipment.

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in the relevant industry (e.g., Sanitary & Storm Sewer CCTV Inspection, Cleaning & CIPP Pipelining, mechanical, electrical, IT).

• · Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
• · Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
• · Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide excellent customer service and build rapport with clients.
• · Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting equipment and working in various environments.
• · Driving Ability: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are often required.
• · Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing work schedules and environments.
