Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and passionate individual to join our team as a
Dog Daycare Attendant . This role is perfect for animal lovers looking to work in a fun, fast-paced, and rewarding environment. The Dog Daycare Attendant will provide exceptional care and supervision to dogs in our daycare facility, ensuring a positive experience for both dogs and their owners.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor dogs in playgroups to ensure their safety and well-being
- Engage in interactive play and enrichment activities
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by regularly cleaning kennels, play areas, bathrooms, and common spaces
- Observe and report dog behavior, intervening when necessary to prevent conflicts
- Assist with feeding schedules and provide fresh water to dogs according to their individual needs
- Communicate with pet owners, providing updates on their dog's activities and behavior
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of all dogs in our care
Requirements:
- Previous experience in animal care (such as veterinary assistant, kennel attendant, or pet sitter) preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic animal behavior and handling techniques
- Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be 18 years or older
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Shift:
- Morning shift
- Evening shift
Work Days:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
